Based on the 3D scanned hulls of the museum display ship models we were able to quickly 3D document hull forms and develop detailed ship model line plans. There was - MV Velebit ship model and CROATIA EXPRESS (currently MV Jolly, IMO 8907943) - 1.5 m long ship models that are 3D scanned with scanning accuracy of 0.02 mm for ship hull 3D documenting & ship general plan development. With this level of 3D scanning quality, the thickness of the hull side company name stickers and even the thickness of the ship's underwater paint layer can be easily noticed.

During ship refit process yacht cabin was fully reconstructed including furniture, walls, floor, insulation etc.. For that purposes, 3D scanning, reverse 3D modeling, model optimization for CNC production, like as nesting & material list, and workshop documentation was carried out by ViaKornel team.

In this project in partnership with the company U.O.I.G. Vidmar in terms of 3D scanning and creation of 3D reconstructions, we provided the service of very detailed 3D scanning and creation of complex 3D documentation of salons and cabins that span two decks of the ship. In this project, using the technology of 3D scanning and reverse 3D modeling, an area of about 100 m2 of the ship's interior was fully 3D documented.
