Based on the 3D scanned hulls of the museum display ship models we were able to quickly 3D document hull forms and develop detailed ship model line plans. There was - MV Velebit ship model and CROATIA EXPRESS (currently MV Jolly, IMO 8907943) - 1.5 m long ship models that are 3D scanned with scanning accuracy of 0.02 mm for ship hull 3D documenting & ship general plan development. With this level of 3D scanning quality, the thickness of the hull side company name stickers and even the thickness of the ship's underwater paint layer can be easily noticed.<\/p>\n
