About the project
Condura Croatia - Work on the project of revision of the wooden structure of the ship and its detailed 3D documentation, which included the use of new 3D documentation technologies such as 3D scanning technology and reversible specialized 3D modeling and 3D printing of missing parts of the supporting structure of the ship.
Within the project. for ship 01, MNS 2530, a detailed historical 3D reconstruction of the ship and all its structurally important elements (ship's hull, ribs, keel, loom, bollards, mast, etc.) was made. By making detailed and photo-realistic 3D visualizations, the ship was given the look it looked 900 years ago when it was still sailing the Adriatic Sea. The wreck of this ship, which is extremely important for Croatian history, was found at the entrance to the town of Nin in 1966, and the ship itself dates back to the end of the 11th century.
ViaKornel, with the methodology of reversible 3D modeling prepared for 3D scanning, has successfully completed the project of 3D documentation, 3D reconstruction and production of draft historical - technical documentation of this extremely famous wooden shipwreck. The wrecks of the ships, along with their associated reconstruction of the missing parts, are on display in the City of Nin, in the Museum of Nin Antiquities.
